The Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA®) and the 13 Western State Departments of Agriculture, announce participation and registration in the following activity, brought to you by the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service:

2020 Virtual Buyer Meeting: Japan - November 16 - 18, 2020

WUSATA’s Virtual Buyers Meeting: Japan will provide companies the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Japanese Buyers interested in your company’s products. This activity is focusing specifically on shelf stable snack foods, healthy foods and non-alcoholic drinks. Participating companies will have 4-5 one-on-one meetings scheduled with participating buyers on an available activity date. Companies will have up to 25 minutes to meet with each buyer. Meetings will take place via Zoom and will be held consecutively from 4:00-7:00 p.m. (PST). Samples shipments are recommended for participation and upon registration participating companies will be provided detailed shipping instructions. All costs associated with sample shipment is the responsibility of the participating companies.

Participating Companies will be responsible for:

  • Shipping product samples - Shipments details will be provided to registered companies and products should be shipped prior to November 6.  All costs associated with sample shipments is the responsibility of the participating companies.

Event Itinerary:

  • Registration Deadline (Sept 25th)
  • Meeting Notifications/Confirmations Provided (Week of October 26th)
  • Sample Shipment Deadline (November 6th)

Scheduled meetings will occur on a selected activity date: Monday (Nov 16th), Tuesday (Nov 17th) or Wednesday (Nov 18th). Meetings will be held at 30 minutes intervals and scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (PST). 

Participation Fee: $25.00
