2021 Mexico Onion Inbound to Idaho and Oregon

The Western United States Agricultural Trade Association (WUSATA®) and the 13 Western State Departments of Agriculture, announce participation and registration in the following activity, brought to you by the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service:

2021 Mexico Onion Inbound to Idaho and Oregon 

September 20-21, 2021

A delegation of 5-7 Mexican onion importers and buyers will visit Southwest Idaho and Eastern Oregon to meet with shippers, visit fields and packing sheds, and source onions. The mission will include one-on-one meetings with Mexican onion importers and buyers and, as time allows, visits with onion growers and packing sheds around the Idaho-Oregon border, including the growing areas of Parma, Idaho and Nyssa, Oregon.

Benefits of Participation:

• Make contacts with Mexican buyers specifically interested in sourcing onions from the Idaho-Eastern Oregon region
• Onion shippers will have the opportunity to establish a business relationship with and promote their products to key customers in the market

Participation Fee: $20.00 per company
