  • Europe Dried Fruit & Nut Inbound Mission: to California & New Mexico (Nov 18-22, 2013)

    This is an excellent opportunity for companies to showcase their products to European ingredient buyers.

    The European Union has one of the wealthiest and largest economies in the world, creating a large market for dried fruits, nuts, and other bakery ingredients. The bakery ingredient sector within Europe is a highly mature market, but continues to grow as consumer demand for healthy ingredient products increases.

    In 2012, Western U.S. exported approximately - $1.5 billion in tree nuts, $181 million in dried fruits and $116 million in other bakery inputs (flavorings, mixes, etc.) to the European Union. This activity will raise awareness among European buyers in regards to diversity and quality of Western U.S. ingredient products. This is a great opportunity for new-to-market and experienced exporters to meet qualified buyers and better understand the European ingredient market.

    Important: Participating companies are encouraged to be export ready, bring samples and product lists, and be prepared to discuss pricing.
