Description: The Idaho and Washington State Departments of Agriculture, in
cooperation with WUSATA, will be coordinating participation in the
following activity:
Out-Bound Mission to Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Panama
May 24 – 28, 2010.
In 2009, the WUSATA region shipped over $421 million in agriculture products to the CAFTA-DR. Participation benefits from this activity include: marketing under the advantage from the CAFTA-DR free trade agreement which has reduced many tariffs and duties for US products; you will have the opportunity to develop a direct sales relationship and meet with top level buyers in the market as well as meet one-on-one with prequalified importers in key markets.
