Description: The Idaho and Washington State Departments of Agriculture, in cooperation with WUSATA, will be coordinating participation in the following activity:
Korea Foodservice Inbound Buying Mission:
March 29 – 30 in Washington State and
March 31 – April 1 in Idaho State. Participating companies will be able to meet with five foodservice buyers from the Korean HRI (hotel, restaurant & institutional) sector. Prior year trends indicate that Korea is the third largest market in Asia importing nearly $4 billion in food and beverages from the US last year. Current market trends indicate that Koreans spend about half their total food budget on eating out in increasingly Western-style venues.
There is no costs for participation.
